Kiwanis Manor
Kiwanis Manor Assisted Living is a diverse and vibrant community of seniors living in beautiful West Vancouver.Kiwanis Manor is a four storey apartment building located in a park-like setting with gardens and walkways connecting streets and buildings for easier accessibility and pleasant afternoon strolls. It is two blocks from the West Vancouver Senior's Centre and Community Centres. Marine Drive, a major bus route, is a few blocks away. Monday to Friday the Community Bus picks up hourly outside the front entrance, connecting seniors to local shopping centres, churches, doctor's offices and clinics, the West Vancouver library and Senior's Centre.
Each apartment is approximately 525 sq ft with a full kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Closets in each room provide plenty of in-suite storage. Each suite has a balcony or patio for outside enjoyment and gardening. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower complete with grab bars and shower seat. For those who enjoy baths there is a unique oasis-themed Spa room with whirlpool tub. The building is secured with a key fob entry system and private access to each apartment. The main floor has a comfortable entrance lobby with cozy chairs for sitting and gathering. The dining room is a beautiful open space with large windows on three sides letting in natural light. The fireplace and large wood beams create a welcoming atmosphere where meals are shared and tenants enjoy coming together for tea and socials, games and community events. Downstairs is a small, privately run hair salon and an activity room where tenants may join in exercise programs, crafts or book a party or event.
